The tiny sparrow lays in its nest four eggs that are colored mottled blue. It is the same color as dawn just before the sun rises, full of hope and expectation. Paloma Sparrow Blue is lighter shade than true blue, and without the green in Paloma Aqua Green, tending towards baby blue or powder blue but with a hint of gray.
Paloma is a lightly corrected leather with a combination of dyes and pigments that smooth the leather’s grain pattern. Like puppy dogs and snowflakes, grain structure in Paloma varies and minor color nuances may appear in different hides. Natural marks, scars and insect bites are visible. A thin coat of lacquer gives Paloma some protection and simplifies cleaning.
