Wisteria Tiffany lamp
Tiffany style at its finest and an early example of Art Nouveau. The original Tiffany design first appeared in 1902. A contoured shade gives it depth. Cut glass in shades of amber, green and pale blues and purples. The period Art Nouveau style base is finished in Bronze.
What is the symbolism of Wisteria?
The Wisteria has been know to live for a hundred years and longer. Wisteria blossoms, eloquently falling in tapered clusters, are a visual representation of kneeling down in honor and respect. The brief and fragile blossoms speak of love lost, but also for the heart to endure in spite of loss.
