Our Story - everyone has a story, I like to tell my daughter. Ours begins with passion for quality furniture and love of rural America.

In 1980, on a trip to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, we first discovered hand-made Shaker furniture. The craftsmen were mostly Amish and Mennonites, living in and farming the valleys of West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. The furniture, now called Gat Creek, is benchmade and signed by the craftsman.

Back in Kansas we started small stores in Wichita and Overland Park, Kansas. We selected the name Traditions Home to represent our commitment to quality and value. .

Today, we are the exclusive Stickley Furniture dealer in all of Kansas. But, if you come in you'd be surprised at how far we have come.
