As with any successful endeavor, the story begins with passion and love. For us it was a passion for antiques and a love of American rural life.

It was in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania that we first discovered reproduction antiques, hand-made from solid Appalachian Cherry or New York White Oak. The craftsmen were mostly Amish and Mennonites who farmed the valleys of Pennsylvania and Ohio. Now called Gat Creek, each piece is personally signed by the person who built it.

In 1984, we moved back to Kansas and opened stores in Wichita and Overland Park, Kansas. Our goal: provide furniture built to last a life time. Today, we continue this tradition as the exclusive Stickley Furniture dealer in all of Kansas.

Stickley Furniture epitomizes  the American Arts and Crafts style in its Mission Oak and Harvey Ellis designs. Today, Stickley style encompasses traditional in the Williamsburg Collection and contemporary and modern with the Metropolitan Collection.

Along with furniture, each Traditions store offers interior design studio, fine rugs, commercial design and lighting and accessories.
